Dan Ndoye, one of Bologna’s breakout stars this season, has responded to growing transfer speculation linking him with Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Chelsea.
He insists his full focus remains on finishing the campaign strongly with his current club.
Ndoye, 24, has been a key part of Bologna’s surprise push for Champions League qualification in Serie A, impressing with his direct running, versatility, and work rate on the wing.
His performances have reportedly drawn interest from a host of top European clubs, including United — who are preparing for a major summer overhaul under Rúben Amorim.
When asked about the mounting interest, Ndoye told Sky Sport Italia: “These are things that make you happy. They mean you’re doing well. But I try not to think about it too much. I’m focused on Bologna, on helping the team, and on finishing the season as best we can.”
Ndoye has tallied 6 goals and 5 assists in all competitions this season and has been praised for his defensive discipline and ability to stretch the pitch — attributes that would fit well in Amorim’s counter-pressing style at Manchester United.
Reports in Italy suggest that Bologna would demand a fee in the region of €30–35 million for the Swiss international, who only joined permanently from Basel in 2023 after a loan stint.
With United planning to offload wide players like Antony and Jadon Sancho, Ndoye has emerged as a cost-effective and high-upside alternative.
United aren’t the only ones circling, however. Inter Milan are reportedly lining up Ndoye as a potential replacement for Denzel Dumfries, while Chelsea — under new management — are keeping tabs on several wide players across Europe.
Despite the speculation, Ndoye remained grounded: “The transfer market can wait. Right now, I’m happy here. Whatever comes next, we’ll talk about it at the right time.”
It’s a measured response from a player whose stock is rising fast — and one who could be among the first big moves of United’s summer rebuild.
