Benjamin Sesko says maybe
Manchester United lacked "intensity" but showed "fight" to get a draw at West Ham.
The
22-year-old came off the bench and rescued United in stoppage time with an exquisite finish at the near post from a Bryan Mbeumo cross.
"I'm happy with my finish but not so happy with the draw because I know we deserved the win," said Sesko afterwards.
"Unfortunately the days happen when you are a bit unlucky, maybe the intensity was not exactly what it should be but we were fighting until the end and we got a draw which is really important."
United could have gone third in the Premier League table with a win but still a draw keeps them in the Champions league places.
And Sesko believes that the team is showing the right attitude to have success this year.
He said: "We are creating together, we are working together no matter what is happening, if we are behind or in front we are always fighting.
"It was important for us to get a draw for us today, they were dangerous on the counterattack but we managed to finish 1-1."
And he continued: "We feel amazing we are playing for each other, always together in difficult moments, we are sticking together and getting results like today.
"I think we have to keep going like we have in the last games, we need to play for each other, we have take care in each situation, each second, and when chances come to finish them."
And the first dropped points of Micahel Carrick’s latest spell in charge is by no means a disaster for United, who are still well on course for a return to the Champions League following their recent upturn since Ruben Amorim was sacked.
United thought they had equalised before Sesko, when Casemiro powerfully headed home Kobbie Mainoo’s cross, but a VAR check showed the Brazilian was offside.
