Manchester United played out a 2-2 draw with Everton in their final visit to Goodison Park on Saturday.
Everton capitalized on
United’s defensive frailties, with Beto opening the scoring before Abdoulaye Doucoure doubled the lead after more poor defending.
However, Bruno Fernandes pulled one back with a well-struck free-kick, and
Manuel Ugarte’s volley secured a point for the visitors.
Both Beto and Fernandes had late chances to snatch victory, while United were relieved when a VAR review overturned a late Everton penalty appeal.
