Manchester United fought hard but squandered more points with a 2-1 defeat away to Aston Villa.
Ruben Amorim's side showed plenty of attacking threat but didn't make the most of their chances.
United had edged the first half but some casual defending from Leny Yoro allowed Morgan Rogers to cut inside and bend a stunning finish past Senne Lammens.
The visitors were level a few minutes later. Patrick Dorgu nicked the ball off Matty Cash and Matheus Cunha found another excellent finish.
With the game end to end, Villa found another when Rogers again whipped a brilliant finish into the top corner.
Here are how the United players rated at Villa Park:
Senne Lammens: Powerless to stop either goal and a solid enough game aside from that. One good first half stop from John McGinn, although might have pushed it wide of goal. 6
Leny Yoro: Awful for Rogers' first goal when he never made any attempt to get close to the brilliant playmaker. Looked scared to make a tackle for the second. 4
Ayden Heaven: Stood up well to the challenge posed by an experienced England international. Some good moments against Ollie Watkins and edged that battle. 7
Luke Shaw: Saw play go down the other flank. Tidy enough in possession but didn't have an awful lot to do at times in the game. 6
Diogo Dalot: Offered an outlet and got involved in the game but looks better on the left from an attacking point of view. Two poor, floaty crosses on his left foot. 6
Manuel Ugarte: Just not good enough in possession to hold down a place in this team. Moved further forward after Bruno Fernandes went off and looked ill-suited to that role. 4
Bruno Fernandes: Looked in trouble when he stopped the game to grab his hamstring. Still had a shot after that but his absence is going to be massive. 6
Patrick Dorgu: Settled into the game on his return to the team and looked more assured than he has done for a long time. Good work for Cunha's goal and created another chance. 7
Mason Mount: Busy throughout the game. Won possession well in the first half, created a chance for Benjamin Sesko and stood up in the second half. 7
Matheus Cunha: Again United's most dangerous player and has really come to the party over the last week. Took his goal well but should have got a second. 7
Benjamin Sesko: Wasted two good first-half chances and didn't do enough to rattle Victor Lindelof, who is normally uncomfortable against physical strikers. 5
Substitutes:
Lisandro Martinez: In an unfamiliar role but started well and was good on the ball. Looks a better option there than Ugarte. 7
Jack Fletcher: Solid on his debut. 6
Joshua Zirkzee: Quiet. 6
Shea Lacey: Little time to make an impact but hit a late shot at Martinez. 6
