Roy Keane compared Manchester United to Ryanair as he disagreed with Gary Neville over Benjamin Sesko's equaliser against West Ham United.
The Slovakian came off the bench to delicately clip the ball home in injury time to earn United a draw and continue Michael Carrick's unbeaten start as interim manager.
The result keeps United fourth in the Premier League table and well positioned for a Champions League place.
With the quality of the finish and the moment right at the end of the game, it cued celebrations.
But Keane felt the goal was nothing out of the ordinary and United's expectations have dropped - claiming that Sesko was just "doing his job".
"It's a nice finish but, sorry, isn't that what he is supposed to do if you know what I mean!" said Keane.
"He's come off the bench, they are chasing the game and everyone... United's expectation are like Ryanair, if the flight's on time, everyone is laughing and joking, but usually you are going to be two hours late and everyone thinks that is the norm."
He continued as he disagreed with Gary Neville: "You've low expectations. It's like with Ryanair when they play the music, Sesko for United that is what you are supposed to do."
Ryanair are well known for playing a jingle when the plane lands on time.
However, Neville hit back on the Overlap saying: "Sesko's goal ordinarily, and we all watch lots of football matches, I would see that scored one in 25 from that position ahead of the near post.
"I wouldn't see that chance taken very often, it would either be saved or missed past the post."
But still Keane wasn't finished saying: "That's because you have low expectations."
United now have a long break before their next game on February 23 when they take on Everton away, with FA Cup matches played this weekend.
