Manchester United are accelerating their efforts to sign Paris Saint-Germain left-back Nuno Mendes amid interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City.
The Reds appear to be leading the race for Mendes, with ongoing talks between the clubs.
However, negotiations remain at a standstill, as PSG are holding out for a fee of €65m, despite Mendes’ contract running until 2026.
Real Madrid, in need of a new left-back, are also exploring their options after cooling their pursuit of Alphonso Davies, who seems set to extend his stay at Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, City have recently entered the fray, further complicating United’s pursuit of the talented 22-year-old.
