Norwegian 'generational' star gives nod to United move with photo

Manchester United target Sverre Nypan has further ignited speculation about a potential move to Old Trafford after being spotted with a club calendar.

The 17-year-old Rosenborg starlet has been linked with a move to the Red Devils, with reports suggesting that the club could make a move as early as January.

Nypan has caught the eye of European scouts with his impressive performances for Rosenborg, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in the Norwegian top flight.

And an experienced Norwegian scout told the Mail: "Nypan is a truly generational talent. If he continues to play like this, it's very likely he'll move within a year."

While Nypan is still a young player with plenty of development ahead of him, his talent and potential are undeniable. United are reportedly closely monitoring his progress and could make a move in the near future.

However, it remains to be seen whether Nypan would fit into Ruben Amorim's preferred 3-4-3 system.

The Portuguese manager is currently focused on rebuilding the United squad and may prioritize other positions.
