Rashford tells why he is 'grateful' to Man Utd after joining Barca

Marcus Rashford has been presented as an on-loan Barcelona player and spoke positively about his time at Manchester United and being "grateful".
He also highlighted his admiration for Barca, stating, “It’s a club with which every player wants to play.
"I’ve always loved watching good football, and I think I’m going to enjoy playing here.”
Rashford emphasized the honour of wearing the iconic number 14, inspired by his idol Thierry Henry and its historical significance linked to Johan Cruyff.
He said: “It’s a historic number for the club. Wearing this jersey is an honour, and I’m ready to give my best.”
He expressed gratitude towards Manchester United, noting, “I don’t have anything bad to say about Manchester United. It’s been an important part of my life, I’m grateful... I wish them all the best.”
Rashford underscored his ambition to win titles, stating, “It’s simple, I want to win everything. This is the best place to win titles,” reported Sport.
He specifically mentioned his desire to help Barcelona succeed in LaLiga and the Champions League, saying, “I’m ready to face all teams in LaLiga.
"For the Champions League, I hope we can take the next step this season.”
Rashford praised his new teammates, particularly Lamine Yamal, describing him as “one of the best in the world last year” and expressing excitement about playing alongside talents like Yamal, Raphinha, and Lewandowski.
He also commended coach Hansi Flick’s impact, noting, “Hansi has done a great job with the team, especially last season. It’s incredible.”
Rashford spoke of his adaptability, stating, “One of my best characteristics is my ability to adapt to circumstances on the pitch.”
He expressed a commitment to immersing himself in Barcelona’s culture, saying, “I want to understand the club, its fans, and its values. I want the full experience.”
Despite not being a guaranteed starter, Rashford is determined to make an impact as a versatile attacking option, primarily from the left wing, and to relaunch his career under Flick’s guidance.
