Manchester United crashed to their first defeat under Michael Carrick as they were beaten 2-1 by 10-man Newcastle.
The game came to life just before half-time with Jacob Ramsey sent off when being shown a second yellow card for diving, before Anthony Gordon won a penalty that he converted after a Bruno Fernandes foul.
In first half stoppage time Bruno Fernandes delivered a free-kick which Casemiro headed home.
United were sluggish but still looked like they would draw before William Osula's late strike secured all three points.
Senne Lammens: Cleverly slowed the game down when United were under pressure in the early stages of the first half and was again solid with his work. 7
Noussair Mazraoui: In the team for Dalot. Tested by Barnes in the first half and relieved to see him depart at the break. Booked for a rash and silly foul on Elanga. 5
Leny Yoro: Had his difficulties this season but this was much better. Covered ground for Mazraoui at times and defended with conviction and intelligence. 7
Harry Maguire: A difficult day for him after the verdict in a Greek court at lunchtime but he didn't let it show. Solid defensively and won plenty of duels. 7
Luke Shaw: Booked for a foul on Elanga when he had done well against his former teammate until then. Replaced on the hour as he struggled with the aftereffects of illness. 6
Casemiro: Joelinton got the better of him at times and sloppy in possession, particularly for the penalty, but showed character to come up with the equaliser. 6
Kobbie Mainoo: Forced Ramsdale into a good save but probably his worst game since returning to the team. Rushed in possession and found it hard to get control. 5
Bryan Mbeumo: Booked for a foul on Hall and had a poor game. Missed a glorious first-half chance when smashing the ball into the Gallowgate End. 5
Bruno Fernandes: Overhit lay-off to Cunha and foul on Gordon for a penalty summed his first half up, but typical of him that he stepped up with the assist. for Casemiro 6
Matheus Cunha: Had the beating of Trippier in the first half and tested Ramsdale, but again didn't offer a great deal of width, especially in the second half. 6
Benjamin Sesko: Link-up play and ability to hold the ball up were impressive. Worked an opening for himself in the first half and didn't get enough service. 6
Substitutes
Diogo Dalot: Should have hit a shot first-time when found in the area. Offered some width down the right. 6
Manuel Ugarte: One of his more encouraging cameos off the bench. Good header, almost looped in, and brought an element of control to the midfield. 7
Amad: Little time to make an impact. 6
Joshua Zirkzee: Did his best to make something happen. 7
