Roy Keane says that teams are now coming away from a game against
Manchester United and thinking "well that wasn't too bad" as he calls for them to show more fight.
Ruben Amorim's team dropped two more points on Thursday night after they commanded the second half against West Ham but conceded a late goal after Diogo Dalot had given them the lead.
West Ham showed little threat going forward but then United were badly exposed at a corner for the equaliser.
Fans left Old Trafford with a sense of frustration as another chance was wasted to move up the table.
And Keane said afterwards: "You thought you'd an opportunity to get the feel good factor, gets momentum into the season, we can see how tight the table is a lot of teams inconsistent.
"United had a chance, a little bit, just to put a little marker down to say listen we can win these we win these type of games where we're expected to win. Obviously all the other games happened the last couple of nights so the spotlight was was on United tonight, get that win, go to fifth in the league. They couldn't take it.
And Keane said that he feels this United team is easy to play against - which is the "biggest insult for a player".
He continued: "If you think when teams come to United, if you're trying to get a good result, look at Everton, we'll focus on the last two couple of home games, I bet you Everton and West Ham were going off the pitch and thought that wasn't too bad.
"At least put demands on them physically, technically. United didn't, again, I think United give these teams a lot of hope now. And I think the biggest insult you can have as a player, particularly for United, is I still think they're quite easy to play against.
"In the last 10 or 15 minutes, where's the aggression, where's the fouls, even if United think, well, one's enough, slow the game down. If you think we don't have the belief to go and get the second and third goal.
"Again, we go back to the way they did at Palace, find a way to win, grind our result. So what we're seeing here tonight, if they win 1-0, we'll say it was a bad game, it was a poor game, but they won 1-0."
