David Beckham's three word message to Paul Pogba as ex-Man Utd midfielder nears return

David Beckham, co-owner of Inter Miami and a Manchester United legend, has warmly acknowledged Paul Pogba as the French midfielder moves closer to his return to football.

With Pogba still searching for a new club, he has been dropping cryptic hints about his comeback, targeting a return in March.

As the January transfer window nears its deadline, speculation around his next destination has intensified, fueled by his social media activity.

The 31-year-old recently shared an image of himself looking out over Port Miami, captioned: "Let's see what's coming..."

Days earlier, he was also spotted wearing a ‘David Beckham 7’ jersey, further igniting rumors of a potential move to Major League Soccer.

Beckham himself responded to Pogba’s post with a comment: “Looking good mate,” accompanied by two red heart emojis, sparking excitement among fans about a possible link-up in Miami.

Inter Miami, fresh off a successful MLS season, is preparing to defend its Supporters' Shield title.

The team has undergone significant changes, with former Liverpool and Barcelona star Javier Mascherano replacing Tata Martino as head coach ahead of his first MLS campaign.

While Miami recently faced Club América in a friendly, their competitive season begins in February with a Concacaf Champions Cup clash against Sporting Kansas City.

Pogba was suspended after testing positive for dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a substance that increases testosterone levels.

However, after appealing the decision, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced his initial four-year ban to 18 months, clearing him to return in March.

In its ruling, CAS determined that Pogba had not intentionally consumed DHEA, with the positive test resulting from a supplement prescribed by a doctor in Florida.

Despite the reduced suspension, Juventus opted to terminate his contract in November 2023, leaving Pogba a free agent.

With Beckham’s warm acknowledgment and Pogba’s Miami-based hints, speculation continues to grow about whether Inter Miami could be his next destination.
