Borussia Dortmund have reportedly entered discussions with Marcus Rashford's representatives over a move.
The Manchester United forward is out of favour under United’s new manager, Ruben Amorim.
The 27-year-old has not featured since December 12, when he played 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.
His absence has sparked rumours of a departure, especially after Rashford admitted he is seeking a "new challenge," a revelation that reportedly left his teammates frustrated.

Dortmund Take the Initiative

According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Dortmund has taken significant steps toward securing Rashford's signature.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl held talks with Rashford’s agent last week to gauge the feasibility of a move.
However, the Bundesliga club faces a major obstacle: Rashford’s financial demands, which are currently seen as excessive.
Despite this, Dortmund remains in the race, alongside AC Milan, who are also reportedly preparing to open negotiations with Manchester United.

Other Suitors in the Mix

Several clubs, including Tottenham and West Ham, have shown interest in Rashford, but Dortmund and Milan appear to be leading the charge.
With the January transfer window in full swing, the competition for Rashford’s services is heating up.

Amorim Comments on Rashford's Future

Following United’s FA Cup victory over Arsenal on Sunday, Amorim addressed Rashford’s situation.
When asked if the forward had already played his final game for the club, Amorim remained non-committal:"I don’t know. We will see. He is a player for Manchester United, and we will see.
"He has to work, he has to represent his club, and he loves his club, but I have to make choices. I’ve already spoken about how I make the choices."
Rashford’s potential departure could mark the end of an era at Old Trafford, where he rose through the academy ranks to become a key figure.
