Manchester United are now ready to compromise in their approach to Marcus Rashford’s future to get a move over the line.
Meanwhile, the club's position on potentially selling Rashford to Premier League rivals Arsenal or Tottenham has been revealed.
Despite numerous discussions between Rashford’s agent and brother, Dwaine Maynard, and various clubs across Europe, no concrete offers have been made for the 27-year-old forward.
AC Milan, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain—currently focused on signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia—have all expressed interest in recent weeks.
However, these talks remain preliminary. Premier League sides Arsenal and Tottenham have also sought updates on Rashford’s situation, but neither club has progressed beyond information gathering.
United would favor selling Rashford to a foreign club, making any potential Premier League move significantly more challenging.
While Rashford has been available for transfer since last summer, no club has come forward with a concrete offer for a permanent deal.

A New Approach: Loan Option

To generate interest, United have softened their stance and are now open to loaning Rashford. Several clubs have made inquiries under these revised terms, but no definitive steps have been taken.
Rashford is unlikely to move to Saudi Arabia, while a potential switch to Serie A would require him to accept a pay cut.
No Italian club is currently willing to cover his full wages, and United are hesitant to subsidize his salary in an ideal scenario.

Gonçalo Inácio on United’s Radar

In other transfer news, A Bola reports that United are contemplating a move for Sporting CP defender Gonçalo Inácio.
Manager Ruben Amorim previously stated he would not raid his former club during the January transfer window. However, United are considering a loan bid with an obligation to buy for €40m in the summer.

Uncertainty Surrounding Joshua Zirkzee

Meanwhile, there are growing concerns within United over the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. There are reports that the club may now view the transfer as a mistake.
