Benjamin Sesko has told of two steps he took when he was young which have helped him at Manchester United.
The Slovakian striker is still only 22 but he already moved from his native country to Austria and then Germany and had to learn foreign languages.
He feels that both of these factors have been important for him growing as a person as his career goes from strength to strength at United.
He moved to Red Star Salzburg in 2019 when he was in his mid-teens and then signed for Leipzig aged 20.
"When I was 15 or 16 I went to Salzburg, in Austria," he told MUTV.
"It was really helpful for me that the year before I had been in my country but on the other side where I was in an academy."
He went on to explain how he was a bit "homesick" at first but quickly overcame it.
"So it was really helpful for me as when I was younger I was a bit homesick but I beat that after one or two weeks which was hard," he said.
"I remember walking around the city just to try and get it out of me but it has been fun since then, I have passed that phase.
"And when I moved to Austria it was fun, obviously the language for me was hard as it was German, so I learnt English quite quickly, we had it at school but I wasn't the best at it.
"And then I learned English and German through English so I was improving both languages which was important. Now I can speak both.
"It is good to get passed those phases because it teaches you in life a lot of stuff."
And Sesko also told how his celebrity status has also brought rewards for his home village of Radece.
"Now when people are driving past my village they stop to visit, go into some bars so it has been good for our village to be fair," he said.
