Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim and Marcus Rashford have reportedly cut all communication, as tensions between the pair reach a breaking point.
Rashford, 27, has not featured for United since mid-December and is eager to secure a move away from Old Trafford before the transfer window closes, having admitted he is ready for a "new challenge."
However, his chances of impressing potential suitors have been hindered by Amorim’s refusal to select him.
The Portuguese coach, 40, has been highly critical of Rashford’s training standards, even going as far as to claim that 63-year-old goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital would be more deserving of a place in the squad.
Amorim made it clear that unless Rashford improves his attitude in training, he will not be considered for selection.

Relationship at an All-Time Low

According to The Guardian, Amorim and Rashford are no longer on speaking terms.
The report states that the only time Amorim acknowledges the forward is when addressing the squad as a whole.
Their fractured relationship has fueled speculation that Rashford’s time at Manchester United is coming to an end.
Despite his exile from the squad, Rashford has attracted significant transfer interest. West Ham, Aston Villa, and Tottenham have been linked with a move, while Italian side Como and Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are also keeping tabs on the England international.
However, Rashford’s preferred destination appears to be Barcelona, with reports suggesting he is willing to take a pay cut to facilitate a move to the Spanish giants.

Paul Scholes Slams Rashford’s Attitude

Club legend Paul Scholes has weighed in on the situation, criticizing Rashford’s attitude and professionalism.
"I think Marcus has let a lot of people down with his attitude, and that’s what the manager is trying to highlight," Scholes told Sky Bet’s The Overlap.
"You think of the young players coming through, like [Alejandro] Garnacho—they're looking up to Marcus now. At 27, he should be setting the example. Instead, he's clearly not training properly or living his life the right way."
Scholes compared Rashford’s current situation to his own experience under Sir Alex Ferguson, recalling how the legendary manager told him: "The worst thing you did was let your teammates down."
The former midfielder believes Rashford’s actions are having a negative impact on the dressing room.
"He may not be refusing to play, but his behavior and training standards send the same message.
"If he doesn’t want to be part of the team, he should be banished from the dressing room.If young players see that as an example, the sooner he's gone, the better."
With Rashford’s relationship with Amorim beyond repair, his departure from Old Trafford now seems inevitable. The only question is whether he will secure a move before the transfer window closes.
