Manchester United sealed a 4-0 win over Everton but fans are already looking to the next against Arsenal with key players missing.
Midfielders Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo were both shown yellow cards on Sunday.
Having already accumulated four bookings this season, a further yellow has triggered an automatic one-match suspension for each player.

Implications for Upcoming Arsenal Match

The bookings mean both players will not be available for the upcoming match against Arsenal on Wednesday.
United, with a 3-0 lead in the early second half, saw both Martinez and Mainoo booked within a few short minutes which is frustrating as United were in such a commanding position already.
With both important players it means the coach will have to rework the side for the trip to the Emirates.

Mainoo’s Return and Next Match

Mainoo was making his first appearance under Ruben Amorim since his injury and had been an unused substitute in Amorim's first two games in charge.
Mainoo and Martinez will be eligible to play in United's next home match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez, have been substantial contributors to the team’s recent success but with players returning from injury they have a strength in depth that Erik ten Hag could only have dreamt about.
In the second half against Everton, Harry Maguire and Ugarte both came on and they will be logical replacements who can fit into the defence and midfield respectively.
Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee both hit doubles as United ripped Everton apart in a 4-0 at Old Trafford.
Rubem Amorim got his first Premier League win in style as the floodgates opened in the Everton rearguard as an increased tempo from United caused them plenty of problems.
It was a rare sight for fans to sit back and watch United able to sit on a comfortable lead and not realistically fear a comeback from Everton. We have to go back to 2021 when United won 6-2 against Leeds for when they last scored four in a match.
