Michael Carrick was filmed putting the Manchester United players through their paces on Wednesday as they prepare for Sunday's clash with Arsenal.
Spirits were still high following the derby win over Manchester City on Saturday. The Reds came out on top thanks to goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu.
Mbeumo and Amad Diallo provided a boost on their return to domestic action having been at the African Cup of Nations.
And Noussair Mazraoui remained unavailable as he was focusing on the final with Morocco.
Carrick is likely to provide an update on Mazraoui's availability for the game against the Premier League leaders in a press conference on Friday afternoon.
Matthijs de Ligt and fellow Netherlands international Joshua Zirkzee, who missed the derby victory, were absent from the latest session at Carrington.
Shea Lacey was involved, as he is eligible again after serving the one-match suspension he received for the red card against Brighton in the Emirates FA Cup third round.
Meanwhile, Carrick cast an eye over the U21s who were in action in the Premier League International Cup against Sporting on Tuesday.
Coaches Steve Holland, Jonathan Woodgate, Travis Binnion, were also there as was Darren Fletcher and Jason Wilcox. It was another good night for United with James Scanlon hitting a hat-trick in a 3-2 victory.
Carrick said after the City game: “We looked dangerous all the time. Certainly we are not going to have games with the emotion and feeling that today brought but there are levels of standard we need to live up to."
And of the Arsenal clash he added: “It’s a big one again next week but we have got a good foundation to build on.”
Meanwhile, Gary Neville was delighted with United's display against City. "I can’t believe what I’ve just watched," he said afterwards.
"I’ve done eight of United’s last 10 games, I’ve seen Burnley, I’ve seen Wolves, I’ve seen West Ham, I’ve seen Everton here, I’ve seen Bournemouth here, I’ve seen nothing like that."
