Ruben Amorim says what
Manchester United need to watch out for against Leeds but is confident they can "win any game in any situation".
United go into the clash at Elland Road with four points from two games but a sense of disappointment after they could only draw at home to Wolves on Tuesday.
Amorim reverted to a back three for a game which
Gary Neville called the "baddest of the bad" as they lacked attacking flair.
And now Amorim defended his team saying: "I think we are playing better, when we have the full squad, we are clearly attacking better.
"We are not being good enough in the details. We should have more points in the moment, but, of course, we want always more. We should have more points in the table."
While looking at the Leeds game he said United had to watch out for the "pace" from Leeds as his team struggles against it but he pointed out that the Reds have proved themselves capable of winning these games.
"They have a lot of pace and, sometimes, we struggle with pace. They are confident, but we have proved we can win any game in any situation, in every context. So we will try to do that again," he said.
"We know that they change the system. They have different players in [the] front. They can as, the last game, they rotated two players that usually are the starters. So they have good players, good manager, great environment. It is going to be a tough game."
United and Leeds have had a fierce rivalry for decades which peaked in the 1970s and 1990s and Amorim admitted his players need to "be ready for everything".
He said: "When you play for Manchester United, you need to be ready for everything. We have, and you guys have, the best league in the world, but every game now, and you see every week [there are] a lot of draws. You never control.
"You never know what is going to happen in the end of that week. So it's going to be tough, but it's always tough nowadays in the Premier League."
