Manchester United lost their third Premier League game of the season as they went down 3-1 at Brentford on Saturday.
United found themselves 2-0 down inside 20 minutes, with Igor Thiago scoring twice as Brentford exploited the ongoing defensive frailties of R
uben Amorim's side.
Benjamin Sesko scored his first United goal to give the Reds hope of a comeback.
Bruno Fernandes had the chance to make it 2-2 from the spot in the second half after Bryan Mbeumo was brought down in the area but his penalty was saved by Caoimhin Kelleher. Mathias Jensen scored late on to make it 3-1.
Here are how United's
players rated at the Gtech Community Stadium:
Altay Bayindir
No chance with the opener but kept United in it with two fine first-half saves in succession. Did well to make the initial save moments before conceding the second. 7
Matthijs de Ligt
Sloppy header moments after the restart nearly allowed Brentford through on goal, but made a vital tackle to clear the danger. 5
Harry Maguire
Culpable for Brentford's opener, allowing Thiago to get away from him and failing to track his run from an onside position. Solid aerially thereafter. 5
Luke Shaw
Found himself exposed on several occasions when Patrick Dorgu pushed forward, allowing Brentford to exploit the space left down the left side he was tasked with defending. 5
Diogo Dalot
Back in the starting line-up after missing United's previous two games through injury, he looked rusty, with Brentford's second goal coming down his side. Sloppy. 5
Manuel Ugarte
In for the suspended Casemiro and covered a lot of ground in the midfield, making several vital recovery tackles as Brentford dominated in the middle. 6
Bruno Fernandes
Quiet in terms of influence on the game but vocal in terms of barking instructions to his teammates. Needed to dig his side out of a hole but costly miss from the penalty spot. 5
Patrick Dorgu
Managed to get himself into plenty of dangerous positions down the left side, but was found wanting with his final ball, which has been a recurring theme since he joined United. 6
Bryan Mbeumo
An unhappy return to his former club. Brentford fans taunted him with chants of "Bryan, what's the score?". Peripheral until winning a penalty Fernandes failed to convert. 6
Benjamin Sesko
Showed great desire to bag his first United goal. Had two shots saved by Kelleher, but made it third time lucky with a fierce finish high into the net to give United hope. 7
Matheus Cunha
Embarked on a surging run near the end of the first-half and chose to shoot, rather than passing to Fernandes, who was in a better position. Shot saved after the break. 6
Subs

Still can't get a Premier League start. 6
