Bryan Mbeumo has declared that there is “no limit” to what he can achieve at the club after a stunning start to life under
Rúben Amorim at Manchester United.
The summer signing, who joined from Brentford in a £45 million deal, scored twice in United’s
4–2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, further cementing his place as one of the most exciting additions of the season.
Speaking after the match, Mbeumo reflected on his early form and the environment at Old Trafford. “I feel free here,” he said. “The manager gives me confidence, and the team believes in me. I know I can go further — there’s no limit.”
His words reflect a player thriving under a system that plays to his strengths — pace, pressing, and intelligent movement off the ball.
Since Amorim’s arrival, United’s attacking identity has taken shape around flexibility and energy, and Mbeumo has been central to that transformation.
Operating mainly from the right wing but often drifting inside to create overloads, he has combined well with Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes, giving United a more fluid and unpredictable attack.
Mbeumo’s ability to track back and contribute defensively has also won admiration within the dressing room.
Amorim praised his forward after the win: “Bryan is the type of player every coach wants — tireless, disciplined, and fearless in front of goal. He fits exactly what we’re building here.”
The French-born Cameroon international has now scored five goals and provided two assists in his first eight Premier League appearances, quickly becoming a fan favourite.
His seamless adaptation has surprised even some club insiders, who expected a longer adjustment period after his move from Brentford.
United’s recent upturn in form — including three consecutive league victories — owes much to Mbeumo’s influence.
With key fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Chelsea ahead, his confidence and chemistry with teammates could be vital in maintaining momentum.
For a team seeking a new attacking identity, Bryan Mbeumo represents more than a signing — he symbolizes the energy, ambition, and forward-thinking style Manchester United are trying to reclaim.
