Bryan Mbeumo will make his Manchester United debut in our third and final Premier League Summer Series fixture, against Everton in Atlanta.
United's new no.19 signed for the club earlier in July and immediately joined up with the squad to fly out to the USA as part of Tour 2025, presented by Snapdragon.
Following an individual development plan to prepare him for the new campaign, Mbeumo has been working hard at United’s training camp in Chicago.
Head coach Ruben Amorim has chosen not to include Bryan in matchday squads against West Ham — a 2-1 victory in New Jersey — and AFC Bournemouth, when goals from Rasmus Hojlund, Patrick Dorgu, Amad and Ethan Williams powered the Reds to a second win.
With United finding good momentum on tour, Mbeumo will now join the squad for Sunday evening’s game (17:00 local time, 22:00 BST), reported the Man Utd website.
Amorim said: "He's going to play. I'm really excited to see him playing and what he can give to our team. But I was also really excited to see the team playing the last game.
"You maybe looked at the starting line-up and said 'nothing to see today' but I was so excited because I know we can do better. So I'm always excited, especially at this moment."
Meanwhile, on United's market campaign, Amorim also stated: "To hope is a strong word. We are always looking to improve the team. And we have some characteristics that we would like to have.
"But again, it depends on the market. It depends on the sales. We'll see.
"But I'm really happy. And I think even when you talk about Andre (Onana), you can see the goalkeepers. Even Tom (Heaton) is leaner, he's a different goalkeeper.
"Altay (Bayindir) did really well and Onana is going to be better like the other guys that are getting better this year."
