Gary Neville summed up Manchester United's performance against Wolves with four words as they could only draw 1-1 at home.
On the back of a win at home to Newcastle on Boxing Day, spirits were high as United faced the bottom side in the Premier League who are without a win.
But instead it was a dour display and many fans were critical again of Ruben Amorim's formation.
Amorim switched to four at the back against Newcastle but then for some reason changed again to a back three to face Wolves which has largely been unsuccessful so far during the Portuguese's reign at Old Trafford.
And Neville even thought it was a ploy in the warm-up to fool Wolves.
"I’m not going to get emotional because I don’t think it is something that is helpful for anyone but that was the 'baddest of the bad'," was Neville's four word assessment.
"We saw them warming up before the game in the system with three at the back with Heaven to the right, Martinez and Shaw and then they had Dalot as right-wing back, Dorgu as left-wing back.
"Then they had Zirkzee on the right channel, Cunha on the left channel and Sesko up front. I said they were warming up in the wrong shape against Newcastle the other day to fool everybody and they ended up playing with a back four and I thought ignore that.
"But when I saw that shape was actually going to be played, I’ve seen Zirkzee in that right channel and it just doesn’t work.
"We know Dorgu is a left-wing back, we’ve seen him play there a number of times, he does okay, he is willing and so is Dalot at right wing back, they are both willing.
"I’ve played that position myself, I think I was a pretty decent right back, it is a pretty tough position to play right wing-back or left wing-back."
Zirkzee did put United a goal up with a deflected shot but United never looked comfortable and Wolves equalised before the break.
And Neville felt it was especially frustrating as Dorgu had done so well against Newcastle in a different position.
"I thought Dorgu looked so good on the right wing against Newcastle, he looked free, he could cut in on his left foot, he was more inventive, he looked more like a right player," said Neville.
"I was struggling with it from about 30 seconds, but what I didn’t want to do was start the negativity because you have to let the game settle and you could also look a bit stupid. But let’s be clear after five minutes I thought that is not going to work at all, that is going to be a bad performance, he is going to have to change that."
