Dimitar Berbatov says what Benjamin Sesko needs to do at Manchester United to succeed as he has "all the qualities" to succeed.
The former United striker is well-positioned to give his view on whether a forward has what it takes to succeed at Old Trafford, and he has no doubt that the young Slovakian can do well.
The 23-year-old joined United last summer and started slowly, having appeared to lose his confidence with the team struggling under Ruben Amorim.
But since the arrival of Michael Carrick he has found his feet and scored crucial goals, especially when coming off the bench.
And Berbatov believes that Sesko needs now to keep building his confidence - which he can do by taking advantage of his chances and scoring goals.
"I think things are getting good for him, things are working out slowly for him, but I prefer it like this because I want him slowly but surely to get the confidence, get the goals, because they are both connected, if you get the goals you get the confidence," said Berbatov.
"He's finding his position in the team, even if he is on the bench, the signs when he comes on the pitch brings that threat, and that fear factor for the opposition and he brings the goals.
"It's very good to see him come off the bench and scoring goals, starting and scoring goals. I don't care what types of goals he is scoring as long as the ball is in the back of the net.
"Until you have that confidence in you that when you get on the pitch goals are guaranteed. He has all the qualities and at the moment things are working well for him so I hope things continue this way."
And looking at the way United are now playing under Carrick, Berbatov added: "We've been in a difficult situation and now everybody is happy, jumping and enthusiastic and we are all of a sudden fighting for the Premier League ours."
