Andre Onana finds himself under criticism yet again following two blunders which lead to Lyon taking the lead and then salvaging a draw against Manchester United.
With just 25 minutes into the match, a free-kick from Thiago Almada passed through the penalty box and, due to a delayed reaction, resulted in Onana unable to stop the ball going into the roof of his net.
The goalkeeping mistake led to outrage on social media with fans expressing their disappointment with comments such as 'I'm sick of him' and 'Onana wearing concrete boots?'.

Pre-Match Drama with Matic

Adding salt on the wound was a previous conflict with former United midfielder and Lyon veteran Nemanja Matic.
Matic referred to Onana as one of the worst goalkeepers in the club's history. Post this dreadful mistake, fans echoed Matic's sentiment on social media.
It came after Onana spoke about Manchester United's prowess compared to their French opponents and the importance of maintaining a winning mentality. However, his encouragement did not reflect his performance in the game, resulting in criticism from his colleagues and fans alike.
Onana's constant errors have tarnished his reputation, with critics questioning what United did to buy him in the first place.
Before him David de Gea was allowed to leave despite having been a player of the season at the club and having saved the team many times down the years.
Leny Yoro, the defender, scored his first goal for United, leveling the match at 1-1 and Zirkzee scored late as it appeared that United would win the game.
But then Onana was again at fault for Lyon's squalizer in the final minute of time added on as he failed to hold a shot straight at him and instead pushed the ball back into the middle of the penalty area which was seized upon by a Lyon player to score.
